Meetings of this ministry at St Mary's Parish Center Conference Room provide an opportunity for individuals who are experiencing separation or divorce from marriage to voice concerns, share experiences, present ideas, and ask questions about divorce in a friendly, confidential, respectful, non-judgmental, and safe setting. We are a Catholic God-centered support group. We do, however, welcome persons of different faiths. This is not a therapy group, nor is it a dating service. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at the Parish Center at St. James Chapel. 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Road, Charlestown, from 7-8:30 pm. Every FIRST Sunday October through June a Mass for Healing for those who are dealing with addictions will be held at St James Chapel. All are invited.

St. Mary’s Parish will be hosting the first annual soup cookoff. Participants of the contest will make a pot of soup and be judged by parishioners (tasters) who attend. It will take place at the Parish Center on Saturday, March 11th after the 5:30 mass at St. James. It should be a fun event and you get a soup dinner while being a judge. A signup sheet for soup makers will be posted at the entry of St Mary's Church and St James Chapel.

Following the 10:00AM Mass the Confirmation Candidates will attend a retreat in the Parish Center.
